Orchard Toys Look and Find Alphabet Jigsaw Review and Giveaway

What I love about Orchard Toys is how they are always looking for ways to bring fun and education together. In our collection we had 3 Orchard Toys Puzzles and 10 games! Our collection is really growing and thats because Orchard Toys have to be one of my favourite brands for puzzles and games.

So as soon as Orchard toys told us that they have some new puzzles for us to review, I could not wait to try one of them.

Orchard Toys now have a new theme of Look and Find Jigsaw puzzles and there are a few to choose from. You could choose Alphabet, Numbers, Shapes or Colours.

I let Lily choose and she decided she wanted to try the Alphabet one.

The box comes with 2 jigsaws inside and after you have made them you use the 2 jigsaws together for a fun activity of look and find.

I was wondering how hard work it may be to find the pieces that went with each jigsaw but Orchard Toys had thought this one through and made one jigsaw red on the back and one blue. This meant you could separate the 2 jigsaws before you began putting them together.

The jigsaw pieces looked so colourful and as usual the characters on the pieces are illustrated so nice. They always look so child friendly.
As always the pieces are made with a really hard decent quality piece of card. I find the pieces almost impossible to bend and so that means that this jigsaw is going to last.

On the one jigsaw you have the alphabet and along side the letters there is a picture for that letter. For example, F for Fish. On the other jigsaw you have a scene of a house and in that scene there are all the objects from the alphabet jigsaw.

Lily wanted to do the scene picture first, she needed my help slightly to find the right pieces to put them in order but could easily place them in the right place. She then did the alphabet jigsaw, and again I had to help her find the right pieces.

After we had made both jigsaws we started to play look and find with them. We went through the alphabet and I asked Lily what the picture was. She said Apple. I replied with "Yes, A for Apple", I then asked her to see if she could find the apple in the picture. This part she did really well and was really good at finding the objects in the picture.

I really like the concept of the game, it creates a fun way to be able to practice learning the alphabet. It is also a really nice activity to do together, or as a group if you have more than one child. This jigsaw would be perfect for pre-schools.

The Jigsaw is aimed at children aged 3+ and is £8 to buy. Which I think is a great bargain to say you are getting 2 jigsaws. You can buy it from the Orchard Toys Website

I would really recommend Orchard Toys to anyone and this jigsaw is no exception.

Do you think your child would enjoy this jigsaw?
