Pourty Toilet Seat and Stool Review and Giveaway

While walking round The Baby Show a few weeks ago I came by a stall for a company called Pourty. They make Potty's, Toilet Seats and Stools for toddlers and so I went to have a good chat to them.

Pourty gave us the green set and I couldn't wait to show Lily so she could give them a try. A toilet seat and stool was just what Lily is now needing so Pourty kindly let us have one of each to try out.

As soon as I got them home Lily was super impressed and said "Wow, Lily's Stool". She knew straight away they were for her. She has been starting to use the toilet a lot recently rather than use the potty, but up to now I was having to hold her onto the toilet.

Upon first looking at the stool and toilet seat I already knew that they were going to be great. The stool looked really sturdy and I loved that it had a green grip on the top and 2 green little handles at the side. It was much taller than the stool Lily already had and she could nearly reach the sink with her old one. So I knew this one was really going to help her reach. Lily also really loved the little cat on the side of the stool.

The toilet seat looked just as good. It had a green soft rubber material for grip around the edging and was a really smooth plastic. It looked like it would be really comfortable to sit on from the shape of it. It also has a deep splash guard at the front which stops the child from weeing on the toilet or floor.

The toilet seat was really easy to put on the toilet and it comes with 2 adjustable prongs so you can make it fit perfectly on your toilet. These were really easy to attach and just slide on. I think that they look great on the toilet and really inviting for Lily to want to use it. When the seat is on the toilet it is really sturdy and doesn't move around at all. This really is something that makes this toilet seat stand out as I have known many toilet seats to move and slip around.

Lily loves her stool and seat. The stool is really light so Lily can now pick it up and move it to where she likes. She moves it to the light switch so she can turn on the light, then moves it to the toilet to use the seat and then moves it to the sink to wash her hands. The little grips on the side really help her to be able to do this. The stool is a really good size for her to rest her feet on while she is on the toilet. Which also gives her extra stability. She can also now reach the sink to brush her teeth and wash her hands. It is also a really good size for her to sit on, which she did last night while I took a shower. I also love that I don't need to worry about Lily slipping with the grip on the top. Safety is really important. I never thought I would have been as impressed with a stool as this. But I really am.

Lily is so happy with her seat. She has been using the toilet a lot more since she has got it. She obviously feels really happy and secure on it. She also knows how to put the seat on the toilet herself. That is how easy it is to use. Im really impressed with this seat. Everything about it is perfect from the fitting to the non slip. The little wee guard is so helpful to as I have noticed it get a little wet which means its doing its job and catching any little sprays that would normally be on the seat.

If you are looking for the perfect toilet seat for your toddler then this is the one. It fits most toilet seats apart from the large rectangular shaped ones. The stool is also the perfect match to go along side it. You can get the seats and stools in green, pink or blue. We really like the green one as its unisex and so perfect for any little girls or boys to use.

The toilet seat is RRP £14.95 which I think is a great price as you will only ever need to buy one seat and your not wasting money trying to find one that fits.

The stool is RRP £9.99 which I think is worth paying just to make sure your child is going to reach the sink and is going to be stood safely on it.

Head to the Pourty Website to see where you can buy them both.
