Project Mc2 Hanging Garden Ember Doll Review

After watching some of the Project Mc2 show on Netflix and having a few of the dolls already including another experiments doll. I was really excited to be getting to get my hands on this Ember's Garden doll.

I was sent her to review and I must admit I have been just as impressed as I was with the Bryden doll which I also reviewed.

Let me tell you a little more about the experiments range from Project Mc2.

This set of dolls are all based on S.T.E.A.M. Which is Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Maths. Along with each doll comes with a little experiment that links to one of the S.T.E.A.M subjects.

In the case of Ember's Garden it is Science, and inside the box is your very own hanging garden kit to learn how to grow. The kit comes with a little pink plastic hanging vase, and a pipette. You add your soil, your seeds and then use the pipette to add drops of water. Then you sit back and watch your hanging garden grow.

Its super clever as you actually don't need to add much water as your hanging container which is called a terrarium acts as like an aquarium for plants by trapping in the moisture.

The doll herself is so beautiful. Im really impressed at all the little details that are on the doll. Her hair shines so nicely and is a lovely colour, her eyes are so blue and lashes seem real. She also has the nicest little freckles. It's really nice to see a doll looking so naturally beautiful. She also looks just like the character from the show. Lily is a little young for these dolls yet but as a parent I would be so happy for my daughter to own one of these dolls to look upon as a role model.

The dolls body is quite delicate, all her limbs bend. Even her little hands can move. This is great for getting your doll to sit down and also create hand motions. She stands at 12 inch tall and comes with the cutest most colourful outfit. She wears pretty floral boots and comes with her own backpack and brush. All of the outfit is made with such detail. Her belt has the tinniest of flowers printed onto it and you have to love her beautiful daisy chain on top of her head.

You can buy this doll and other Project Mc2 Dolls for £24.99 from leading stores such as Toys 'R' Us or Smyths Toy Store.
