ReplyDeleteI always want to eat what mummy is eating even if I don't like it, its amazing how little ones do that and keep on insisting on having some.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post- I read every fact!
ReplyDeleteI used to have not much hair as well, and coincidentally I had bright white blonde hair also. I kept my blonde hair all the way until my early twenties, now it is sort of dark blonde very light brown. I don't think she looks like a boy though, she is clearly a lady, some people are so rude! No stinky boy would wear such a fetching strawberry dress. :)
*when I talk about not having much hair I meant when I was a baby too! Just wanted to clarify! :)
DeleteI copy mummy and daddy when they sneeze and say achooo
ReplyDeleteMy daughter shouts bless you at everyone
Kay Panayi
Awww so sweet, Lily sounds a lot like Anneliisa, we barely had any hair at 18 months either but now at just over 2 we have quite a bit. Jumping is a big thing and we have finally mastered it and won't stop jumping. Favourite words in this house atm seem to be Go away and No 😂

Im not keen on children my own age and run away from them, I prefer older children. That sounds just like my daughter. She didn't enjoy playing with kids her own age either and her friends were all older.
ReplyDeleteThe list brought back a lot of memories from both of mine when they were 18 months but I must say Lily is very advanced in some things like being able to open and close curtains herself. What a cutie
ReplyDeleteFarhana
She loves to be lifted up to look out the window when a police car or ambulance drives past, I love this one as my daughter is the same!
ReplyDeleteLike Lily my little fella loves Softplay and I'd think he'd spend all day there if he could? It's amazing how much they soak up and copy - you have to be careful they don't catch Mummy's OCD...my little boy always says to me when we're goung out now 'Got keys? got phone..locked door?' - still, it's a great reminder ;)

ReplyDeleteI loved these facts, they're so cute just like Lily! My little niece also puts everything bracelet shaped on her wrist! I also love that her fave foods are cheese and apple, mine too! My favourite fact is that she looks after her dollies, puts them to bed, feeds them, so adorable!
ReplyDeleteI laughed reading some of these, my youngest is 22 months and I have seen her do all of these too. I'm sure her first word was Bing, and she can definitely say no now, when you ask her to do something she doesn't want to she really stroppily says no accompanied with a stamp of the foot and throws her dummy across the room. I also hate it when people assume that she's a boy people have done it with both of mine, my eldest had no hair until she was 2 so it was always "aww he's lovely" my youngest has really tight curly hair and despite being in a pink pushchair with pink trainers they say "aww I love his hair". If you don't know don't assume!!! You can tell this one reallys annoys me lol.
ReplyDeleteLily is a cutie...my grand daughter is only 8 months and already a character too.

ReplyDeleteI like going to the soft play or park where I enjoy the swings
ReplyDeleteMy son is very clingy even now and likes Mummy hugs - enjoy!
ReplyDeletemy little girl doesn't have much hair either like daddy lol. i don't like lots of pick but find myself dressing her in pink or dresses to stop the akward 'isn't he handsome' conversation!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful little girl and a lovely smile.
ReplyDeleteSo many of these reminded me of my little granddaughter, who is now 14 months old, so a bit younger than Lily. Ivy loves books, just like Lily and also likes painting. She has finally started to sleep through the night, but still likes to sleep with Mummy & Daddy, although she will now take a daytime nap in her own bed. She can also blow a kiss, which is lovely when we speak to her (and her Mummy) on Skype, we can blow her a kiss and she blows one back to us - melts our hearts!
ReplyDeleteMy little man loves the green Man too. When we go on holiday we take pictures of the green men in different countries

ReplyDeleteI love how she know's how to blow a kiss....when my son did this I thought it was the cutest! :D
ReplyDeleteI splash in the bath and make puddles on the bathroom floor, I wish my son would just make puddles and not just pour cups of water all over the bathroom floor so its flooded lol!!
ReplyDeleteI have this problem with my little girl, She's very clingy to mummy. If i leave the room she comes screaming after me
ReplyDeleteMy niece will get her grandads slippers and put them on his feet just like Lily puts hers on Mummy's feet. My niece also makes lots of puddles on the floor when she has a bath...who knew bath time could be so messy? What an adorable little girl! Go Lily! x
ReplyDeleteShe loves playing Chase, she sounds a little imp by drawing on the doors while you are not looking. Shes gorgeous
ReplyDelete"I have only drawn on the walls with crayon once, luckily mummy could wipe it off".......When my son was a toddler I remember I had decorated my living room in a lovely light pink on the top and a slightly darker pink on the bottom separated by a wooden rail through the middle, I had been up all night painting and was well chuffed with the result! Came down the next morning with my son, plonked him in the living room with his toys whilst preparing his brekkie - when I went in the living room to give him his food he had rather creatively crayoned the bottom half of my walls!!! I was so gutted! My face must have told a story for the entire day lol. Tried washing it off but all the fresh paint just came off with it....bless him he was so pleased with his art work :-) Kids do love to be creative don't they...
ReplyDelete"I have only drawn on the walls with crayon once" - only once that mummy has found!

ReplyDeleteI say hiya and bye bye and wave when leaving
ReplyDeleteShe looks adorable. I am sure she would get on with my toddler like a house on fire :-)
ReplyDeleteLoved reading through all 101 things about Lily, she's such a gorgeous little girl! We have an 18 month old too, her name is Freya, so it was really interesting to compare notes. So many things were the same, like obsessing over the tiniest little scrape. which made me laugh. I was very impressed Lily is using a potty, we need to start that soon. Also surprised she doesn't like cake, Freya loves it! Really nice article, thanks for sharing :)
